Could you post the ouput from ‘lspci’ you’ll have to be root for this. The point here is that I know the NIC is functional, and the system hardware has been reasonably well tested.
I’m having a hard time knowing whether eec even LOOK like they are configured properly. Having a problem logging in? I can not activate it because it says the device is not present.

I’m going out on a limb and assuming that you only really need to see the info related to the NIC. Please understand that this is my first foray into Linux, as a reasonably educated windows user. I’m just really not sure where to go next.
