Bxm4328 I tried ndiswrapper -mi and cut out all the extras from the modprobe.
I have no problems in Intrepid. Now just to decide which distro to go with on this machine! Please liunx any future bugs you may find. But during bootup these modules are apparently not loaded by modprobe, so the next time I rebooted Wlan was again not working. As per the Broadcom readme file for driver version 6.
